Wild Pitches

We just completed a little road trip through Washington DC and Baltimore!  We hit both current active major league parks in those areas, and had a great ime at both places.  I am still sorting through my photos, but I will get pictures up soon.

It was my first time at both places.  I easily see what the hype is at Camden yards, but I would still rank it behind PNC in Pittsburgh.  We are having a bit of a debate about Camden vs. Commerica.  I love the skyline at Commerica.  Point Commerica.  Also, we probably walked the same distance to get to each park during our visits to each park.  We were hassled endlessly on our way to Commerica.  No hassle at all on the way to Camden.  Point Camden.  OK, two points for Camden on that one.

Baltimore is just a GREAT sports town.  At the Babe Ruth Museum and at the Baltimore Sports Hall of Fame, I had wonderful conversations with a could of older guys who could talk for hours about the town's sports hsitory.  You have to love that!

Also, the ushers and other fans would get yell for people to take a seat if they stood too long.  I like that kind of enjoyment of watching the game!

I thought the Nationals have a very nice park too.  Much nicer than I expected.  more on both trips soon!
