Chuck Scrivener spent 3 seasons with the Tigers and nearly a decade in professional baseball.
Chuck let me know that he still follows the Tigers. He played ball with Jim Leyland, Gene Lamont and Tom Brookens.
Right now, he is a fan of catcher Alex Avila, and he thinks he could be a star!
I asked him specifically about playing for the Evansville Triplets. He says that he enjoyed his time there. He mentions winning the AAA Junior World Series in 1975.
His favorite baseball book is Bouton's "Ball Four."
