I enjoy living in Kentucky, and Minor League Baseball. "Kentucky Baseball" will cover pro baseball in and around the state of Kentucky

Clyde Parris- Negro Leagues Star
Clyde Parris played in the Negro Leagues mostly in the mid to late 1940s.
Clyde very kindly sent me a note about baseball recently.
He notes that the last time he went to a game it was at Shea Stadium. His favorite player is Mariano Rivera.
I asked Clyde about playing in Kentucky. He is noted as a member of the Louisville Buckeyes. He said that he doesn't remember ever playing in Kentucky.
Of course, the team was transitioning between Louisville and Cleveland at that time.
Thanks for the note Mr. Parris!
